Search for R-parity violating Supersymmetry in e+e- collisions at
centre-of-mass energies of 181-184 GeV
J Coles and D Hutchcroft

Abstract
Searches for pair-production of Supersymmetric particles under the assumption that R-parity is violated via a single dominant LLE, LQD or UDD coupling have been performed using the data collected by ALEPH at centre-of-mass energies of 181-184GeV. The observed candidate events in the data are in agreement with the Standard Model expectation, and limits on the production cross-sections and the masses of neutralinos, charginos, sleptons, squarks and sneutrinos have been derived. In addition, a search has been performed for single resonant production of sneutrinos which subsequently decay to the lightest neutralino. Limits are presented on the production cross-section and on the R-parity violating coupling.
