We present an overview of some of the most recent results
from the BABAR experiment. We discuss the latest measurement of the
time-dependent CP-violating asymmetries in
neutral B decays to several CP eigenstates, that in the
Standard Model (SM) is proportional to sin 2b.
We present measurements of branching fractions and
CP-violating asymmetries in neutral B decays to two-body
final states of charged pions and kaons, that are
related to the angle of the Unitarity Triangle. We
also report the B0 lifetime measurement
obtained from studing the B0
>D*-p+
and B0 >D*-r+
decay channels and the B0 >D*-a1+
branching fraction, obtained using
a partial reconstruction technique. These measurements serve
as a test and validation of the procedures required to measure the
combination of CKM Unitarity Triangle angles sin (2b
+ g ).
