Welcome to to PH4442 -- Advanced Particle Physics. This year the course is taught by Glen Cowan.
Time and place: The lectures are Fridays 2-5 at Royal Holloway in Tolansky 125. (Tolansky is building 21 on this map.)
What the course is about: The goal of the course is to develop concepts of particle physics including relativistic quantum mechanics, Feynman diagrams, cross sections and decay rates, weak interactions and neutrino physics, the Standard Model, QCD, LHC physics.
